Meloniting, also know as Nitride, adds 30-40% more life to a barrel, helps to aid in cleaning as well as many other benefits. The negatives are that if the barrel isn’t properly treated it can throw off the hardness of the barrel. We cannot guarantee accuracy after it’s done and once it’s done it’s done there is nothing we can do to the chamber due to the hardness of the metal. I personally have all of my rifles done and have had pistols and other small parts done in the past with great results.
